All these paintings are acrylics on Arches hot pressed watercolour paper. They’re of actual people and each composition puts them in a situation that’s meaningful to them. For example, ‘L’echappé Belle’ was for a French executive who has a strong interest in bandes dessinée or graphic novels. SO here he is described as a sort of Tintin character running past The Bleeding Horse pub in Dublin.
